Let them play

Crewe United Football Club recognised a need for a playpark as there wasn’t one in the local area. The club had previously had some play equipment, but it had to be removed for safety reasons.

Biffa Award fully funded the project which included the purchase and installation of nine pieces of play equipment.

The new safe play area is situated near the existing sports pitch and open and accessible to all. It will help to address some of the issues arising from the pandemic, including the promotion of good mental health and wellbeing within the community.
