New sports hall floor for West Midlands Community Centre

The sports hall at Kingsbury Community and Youth Centre is used by a variety of weekly sporting groups, as well as for Tae Kwando, judo and two parent and toddler sessions. Private parties and events are also popular. Unfortunately, the sports hall’s floor had seen better days with visible cracks and splits in some areas causing concerns about safety.

Biffa Award fully funded the supply and installation of a new sports hall playing surface complete with markings for four badminton, one netball, one basketball and one five-a-side court costing £56,593.20.

Since its much needed regeneration, the players are glad to be back and staying active.
